Energy10 tracks the ten largest US-listed energy companies with a fully disclosed, rules-based methodology — alongside daily fuel benchmarks from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. No black box. No discretionary calls. Just published rules, published weights, and a daily number anyone can check.
Photo: Created with MediaBot.comEnergy10 is an equal-weight price index of ten of the largest US-listed energy companies, covering upstream, midstream, refining, and integrated producers. Equal weighting keeps the number replicable by anyone with the published prices, and every rebalance is published in advance — constituents, weights, and effective dates, all in one place.
The index is designed to be replicable: the same methodology document that governs our own calculation is the one we publish for index users, auditors, and licensees.

Prices are delayed end-of-day quotes; constituents and weights are published for each rebalance in the methodology and the data API. This summary is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice or a solicitation to trade any security.
Rebalance effective dates fall on the third Friday of March, June, September, and December. Provisional weights are published ten business days prior, with a fixed window for comment before weights lock.
Read the full methodologyAlongside Energy10, we republish the official daily spot and weekly retail benchmarks for crude, natural gas, gasoline and diesel — the same data categories our API clients use to contextualize index moves against physical market conditions.
Benchmark levels are indicative reference prices compiled from public market data for informational use and are not an offer, quote, or execution venue for any physical or financial commodity.
Daily closes from the Oct 1, 2026 base date, delivered as clean time series.
Current and historical weights, tied to each rebalance event.

A published rulebook with versioned amendments, a standing review committee, and advance notice for any methodology change that affects live weights.
